Soooooooo Pissed!
I figured I had an excuse to buy a dvd recorder now because of our Carson Daly appearances. So I did! Am I happy right now? No!! Why, you may ask? Because the thing I bought to record the shows is the biggest peice of sheet that I have ever seen in the audio/video world. If YOU are reading this diary entry remember to NEVER buy a product made by GO VIDEO. Even if it's cheeper than all the others and the store rep. tell's you its really good. Don't believe him!! If you do you than god help you. So many bad things happened I can't even go into it. All I can say is this: in the end, everything I thought I recorded is not playable, period. That sucks. Go Video can go to hell. It's absolute crap.

Well, I hate to admit it but I actually went to see Rick Springfield in concert tonight. Ya, ya, ya I'm a fag I know but really It was my fiance's V day present. At first I thought I would go in disguise just in case anyone were to see me but then I figured If I do see someone I know they would feel the same way so the hell with it. I didn't see anyone I know thank god but I gotta say for a fifty four year old guy he still kicks ass. He's a maniac onstage and throws stuff all over the place. His new stuff is pretty heavy. Not bad. But the best part of the night was his opening band "The Squirts" Great Pop rock band. Well written songs, great hooks and supurb musicians. Two of the guys in the Squirts are also in Rick's band. Met them briefly after the show and exchanged CD's. Nice guys. My fiance' Wendy got her picture with Rick. Very Cool!

Still sick but not dead yet
Can't sleep so I might as well make a diary entry. I talked to a good friend in upstate NY tonight that preordered the CD. He's going on and on talking about this and that in the video portion when I realized I have not even seen the finished version yet!( My cd's are apparantly lost in the mail.) So I start asking him...Is the bla bla bla in the vid? Did you see the ?? and so on ... It was pretty funny. He and his 2 daughters enjoyed it very much so I guess I have something to look forward to! Thanx for the info Greg, Danielle, and Alysa Later, Joe

The Flu
I usually end up getting the flu one way or another every year. A couple of days of feeling like crap then it's over. This year I blew off the media hype of "the worst flu strain in years, better get a flu shot" thinking ahh, it's just like everything else in this nation blown way out of proportion. Well, they were right. It's bad. Really bad! Hopefully I won't be dead before my next entry. Nice knowing ya'all if I am!

Got The Call
Got the call at 9 am they found Saddam. At first I said "I'm sure it's just one of the look alikes" then I saw it on the tele. After seeing that cold, blank stare all I could think of was Linda Blair in "The Exorcist". SCARRY! They now have the anti-christ. What's next? The first world wide live execution? Nope, just a political game of "who gets to prosecute Saddam." The sad thing is: even if they put him to death, he can't rot in hell...He already runs it. Later, JM
