Back To School Issue
Having spent the summer in tiny airplanes courtesy of Jeep it's back to the ivy covered
campus of Boston (not much of a college town) for the annual tradition known as Collegefest.
Our friends at Playboy were by far the most popular attraction at this wing-ding, though
Cotton Mather would have been dismayed by Miss July signing autographs on Sunday.
Thanks again to everyone at Arush for having us and thanks Mr. Hefner for the lovely
calendars.

Congratulations Joe and Wendy! A wonderful time was had by all. Big show at The Abbey, it
was amusing to see Gibby Hanes and The Rosenbergs on the same marquee.

Mad Prophet of the Airwaves
To paraphrase Eliot Smith, I saw the weirdest thing on TV and it was me! Everyone on the Carson Daly set took great care of us and we met some cool celebs and musicians. Felt a bit unreal and I kept thinking about the movie "Network." Is TV bad for you? Don't know, but it's fun to make! Not quite the belly of the beast but at least the larynx.
On to Summerfest in Milwaukee where we saw the new Michael Moore flick in an antique oriental theater with the Guster guys. We were shocked, shocked by the mendacity of the current administration. I remind you, the 50 per cent of Americans who don't vote, that your vote is only wasted if you don't use it. Get out there and vote for whomever you think is the best candidate, regardless of said candidate's "electibility." Then go to the window and scream, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Hard to go back to civilian life after playing Hef's place. The launch party for "Playboy: The Mansion" was a blast. The LAPD showed up when we reached 110 decibels but they just jumped in the pool with everybody else. Mad shout out to Lavonne, the twins, and Pedro & Kathy.

Confessions of a Beatlemaniac
Hi everyone. Been practicing hard and hope to see you all when we hit your town. Been finding it difficult to tear myself from that Beatles First American Visit DVD.
Damn them and their happy-go-lucky charm! Plenty of amazing performances and an imperfect mix that reveals some of their counter-intuitive harmony parts. A real nice black and white chunk of the faraway 60's.
